The day I want to play is no longer available. What now?
It may happen that during a busy period, all our English boxes are already rented. We might be able to convert Dutch escape rooms into English. Additionally, it's sometimes possible to pick up an escape room from us in Hollandscheveld (Drenthe). If the date on the calendar is no longer available, feel free to send us a WhatsApp message. We can then explore the options together.
When will the escape room be shipped?
We typically send the escape room(s) three delivery days in advance using PostNL. Our shipping partner usually delivers the next day. You can expect the escape room at your home two days before your play date. The exact delivery date and time depend on the shipping partner, and we are not responsible for this after shipping. You will receive a track-and-trace code from them.
Can my Dutch friends/family/colleagues play the escape room in their own language?
Most puzzles in the escape room are bilingual, meaning that the puzzles can often be solved in both Dutch and English. The introduction video and setup manual for the escape room are entirely in English. If you'd like the video and manual in Dutch, you can reserve the Dutch version 'Het Brandgeheim.' If you want a Dutch manual with the English game, please contact us.
What date should I enter when making a reservation?
Please select the date on the calendar for when you want to play the escape room. The day after playing (excluding Sundays), the escape room should be returned, so it's important to enter the correct date. We will ensure that the escape room is delivered to you on time. We send out our escape rooms three delivery days in advance with PostNL. Typically, you'll receive the escape room the next day. So, well in advance! For exceptions with different return/shipping dates, please contact us by email.
How can a company place an order on invoice?
Follow the regular steps to order the desired escape room(s). As a business customer, you have the option to pay by invoice. Within 2 working days, you will receive an invoice for your order based on the provided invoice details (company name is required). It is possible to have the order shipped to a different address than the billing address.
What is the difference between 1 escape room with an additional game round and 2 escape rooms?
With an additional game round (extra spelronde), you can play the escape room again for only 33% of the cost of a new escape room! You will receive the extra manual and additional props to set up the escape room again for the next group. Setting it up again typically takes 10-15 minutes per escape room with two people. With two escape rooms, you can play in two separate groups simultaneously in two separate rooms or remotely from each other in one large space.
Can you play the escape room with 7 or more people?
You can play the escape room with more people, but please be aware that with more players, each person will have less to do, and communication (and the experience) can become a bit chaotic. In exceptional cases, the escape room can be played with 7 players, but with 8 or more, we recommend splitting the group and booking an additional escape room or game round.
Where can I have the escape room delivered for a weekend getaway?
Many of our escape rooms are played during weekend getaways. You can also have the escape room delivered to a nearby PostNL point or, by arrangement, to the park's reception.
